Few people will know you better than your accountants do. Croyland Building Surveyors were therefore rather pleased to be asked by our (very careful and thorough) London accountants to advise them on the dilapidations liabilities arising from their move from Grays Inn Road to newer premises in the City.
We undertook our usual inspection of the building, including the roof, plant rooms, air-conditioning, etc. This provided our clients with the baseline of their liabilities. We were also able to advise on the actual loss that the landlord would be facing, known as “diminution in value”. From that they were able to negotiate favourable terms for their departure.
Croyland Building Surveyors rarely advertise. We get nearly all our work on the basis of recommendation.
